In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Global Voice for Justice was set up:
1. To provide a support network for the prisoners and their families, primarily by collecting letters and arranging for visits for the brothers and their families.
2. To provide regular updates of court hearings with the help of already existing organizations, and not just that but also encourage and organize a group of people to attend those hearings.
3. To start an ‘Adopt a Prisoner’ Project, where volunteers of GVJ are encouraged to write to a Prisoner atleast once a month and build relations with them. Brothers are to mail the Male Prisoners and the Sisters have to mail the Female Prisoners. This initiative will help us to not abandon or forget our Prisoners and stay upto date with their affairs.
4. To get in contact with the families and help them in every way possible, whether it be through donations, helping them set up support sites/facebook groups etc. This is important and it can be done.
